  • Right Hand Column (RHC)

    Right hand column (RHC) may contain various elements, including banners, buttons, photo galleries, Tweets, etc.
    The maximum width of any element included in RHC MUST NOT exceed 300px.
    RHC is usually set up in Global Elements and then it is displayed on all pages. However, RHC can be also set up on a page level. Custom RHC set up on a page level would only appear on that page and its sub-pages.
    Each element of a RHC is located in RHC folder (RHC page acting as a folder). Each element is set up as a Simple Page.

    In order to create a new Simple Page follow these steps:

    1. right click a RHC page and select Create New
    2. select Page Templates (v2 sites only).
    3. choose (v2) Simple from the list of available options
  • RHC setup steps

    Step 1 - create RHC element(s)


    Create a Simple page under the main RHC page and populate it with data.
    Please Note! RHC element MUST NOT exceed the total width of 300px.

    Step 2 - Global Elements setup


    Navigate to Global Elements and go to Edit tab. From there go to (v2) Right hand column tab. Set Display RHC Elements (v2) value to true. In Elements (v2) add your selected RHC elements.

    Step 3 - Set RHC display options on pages


    Make sure that each page displays RHC elements. In order to do so, select page, navigate to Global Content Overrides under Edit tab and locate Display RHC Elements (v2) drop down box. The box should be blank or set to true.

  • Page specific RHC element(s)

    Each page can have its own RHC setup. In order to create a page specific RHC select page and navigate to Global Content Overrides under Edit tab. Scroll down to the bottom and set the value of Display RHC Elements (v2) to false.
    Then, create a page dedicated list of RHC elements by adding them in Elements window.
